Hi, I’m George El-moujaber, the photographer behind Gelpixs.

I am based in the Illawarra, NSW where I enjoy capturing everything from cars and landscapes to functions, but my greatest passion is sports photography.

Sport has been a big part of my life since I was six years old. Growing up, I played in local teams and spent most weekends on the field, which gave me a real appreciation for the dedication, teamwork and emotion that sport brings. That lifelong involvement is what inspires me to capture those same moments through the lens, from the hard-fought action to the celebrations and the stories that make every game unique.

I started officially taking photos in 2024, but my passion for photography has been with me for a long time. What began as an interest slowly grew into something much bigger, and once I picked up the camera I knew this was the way I wanted to stay connected to the sport and community I love.

I have volunteered with my local AFL club, the Northern District Tigers, because I believe in giving back to the sporting community that has given me so much. I have also had the opportunity to photograph the Central Coast Roosters in the Harvey Norman Women’s Premiership.

My goal is to deliver high quality photos that players, families and clubs can treasure for years to come. Looking ahead, my dream is to work with a professional sporting club, cover major sporting events, and one day travel the world capturing unforgettable sporting moments through my lens.

When I am not behind the camera, you will usually find me at the footy, exploring new places or watching a big game for inspiration. This is why I have so much passion for photography because it allows me to stay connected to the sports and community I have loved my whole life.
